Bharatiya Mahila Bank, a bank dedicated to women in India, has launched BMB RuPay Debit Card equipped with EMV (Europay, Mastercard and VISA) chip, which will offer enhanced security.
The lender said that the BMB RuPay Debit Card will be accepted at all NFS network ATMs of 9.89 lakh POS terminals at merchants’ establishments and over 15,000 online merchant sites, as reported by The PTI.

Bharatiya Mahila Bank CMD Usha Ananthasubramanian said: "The launch symbolises BMB’s eagerness and commitment in taking all technology services to its valued customers at the earliest."
BMB has become the first Indian bank to issue EMV chip cards to all its customers to offer them a secure transaction environment.
The bank is also planning to roll out an array of other innovative, value added products and services such as EKYC for hassle-free account opening and biometric authentication services for illiterate customers.
BMB has already installed 23 ATMs that accept cards of all brands and plans to deploy 60 ATMs in the current year.
