Barclays Bank Zambia has expanded its card offering by launching the first Kwacha denominated credit card in the country.

The newly launched credit card can be used in over 150 countries where Visa is present, according to aily-mail.co.zm.

It will provide customers the convenience of purchasing goods and services and paying for them at a later date.

Commenting on the launch, Barclays Bank Zambia managing director Saviour Chibiya said: "We are proud to be the first bank in Zambia to offer a world class service that will enhance our customers’ overall banking experience.

"As a bank, we believe in going the extra mile to keep our customers satisfied through the provision of innovative products, services and distribution channels that offer our valued customers convenience, flexibility and security," Chibiya added.
