Oman-based BankDhofar has deployed its new point-of-sale (POS) devices at Haya Water outlets across the country to make them easily available for customers.
Enabled with wireless GPRS technology, the devices allows retailers to accept all payment cards including credit cards, debit cards and smart chip cards, thus providing businesses with better efficiencies and service capabilities.
Additionally, BankDhofar provides maximum safety for its customers using these devices.
BankDhofar acting CEO, Abdel Hakeem al Ojaili, was quoted by Muscat Daily as saying that ever since its introduction, their POS devices have revolutionised the way payment are made in the business environment.
"It streamlines business processes for companies and facilitates smooth sales transactions," al Ojaili added.
BankDhofar business and corporate banking director general manager, Kamal Hassan al Murazza, said they have segmented their business and corporate banking services to cater to the varying needs of clientele, which can all be found under one roof at the numerous business and corporate banking centres located around Oman.
