Bank of Southside Virginia deploys Banno Mobile solution

The Bank of Southside Virginia (BSV) has deployed Banno Mobile technology from ProfitStars, a division of payment technology provider Jack Henry & Associates.

The Bank of Southside Virginia (BSV) has deployed Banno Mobile technology from ProfitStars, a division of payment technology provider Jack Henry & Associates.

Over 40% of BSV online banking customers have downloaded the app in the first four months, according to Jack Henry & Associates, with the lender also witnessing strong conversion rates across Millennial, Gen X and Baby Boomer customers.

BSV investment officer Will Clements said, "Days after our first promotion, a customer commented that our app was better than a top-five bank’s app; it makes me proud to be a community bank that can offer such excellent service and grateful that our customers recognize that value."

Designed to work with any core processing system, Banno Mobile offers a speedy, cost effective way to deploy mobile services with their own brand identity to financial institutions of all sizes.

BSV was selected to provide the app in conjunction with iPay Solutions person-to-person (P2P) payments, bill pay, and Remote Deposit Anywhere mobile RDC solutions.

"ProfitStars had current designs and innovative ideas, and the Banno Mobile solution worked with our existing infrastructure," Clements added.

The BSV Mobile app is currently available on iTunes and Google Play.
