Ant International’s subsidiary, Antom, has unveiled a new agentic payment solution, advancing its AI-driven transaction capabilities.
The solution is designed to provide a “secure” checkout process, accommodating a wide array of payment methods.
The newly launched AI agent payment integration is tailored to facilitate payment transactions by AI agents, addressing user flexibility in payment options.
It includes an array of features such as an AI-ready payment mandate model and enhanced payment asset management to ensure secure transactions.
Antom’s solution utilises the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enable payment flows during dialogues with AI agents.
This includes handling both confirmed purchases and conditional transactions, such as those with spending limits or scheduled for flash sales.

The introduction of Antom EasySafePay, a checkout solution for APMs, aims to streamline the payment process by allowing users to connect their digital wallets directly to the checkout interface, bypassing external app redirections.
Antom EasySafePay prioritises transaction security by integrating Multi-Party Computation (MPC)-based AI risk management and mobile device security features.
These are intended to prevent fraudulent activities, protect user privacy, and mitigate the risk of digital wallet account takeovers.
Ant International, Antom general manager Gary Liu said: “The rise of agentic payment calls for rethinking how payment systems are designed. We look forward to co-building the protocols and frameworks with partners across the financial, tech and commerce sectors to ensure agentic payments are smooth and reliable.”
In compliance with PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) rules, the solution employs cryptographic methods to manage payment assets and establishes an AI-ready model for user intent analysis and transaction authorisation.
This model generates verifiable credentials, ensuring traceability and giving users insight and control over AI agent actions.
Antom’s payment integration solution is structured to support a variety of payment methods, including cards, digital wallets, and bank transfers.
In collaboration with Mastercard and Visa, Antom is exploring tokenised card-based payment integrations for AI agents in the Asia Pacific region. These partnerships will focus on piloting secure and personalised payment experiences through tokenisation and authentication methods.
In July, Antom upgraded its AI agent, Antom Copilot, to enhance merchant payment services and manage disputes more effectively.
The Antom Copilot 2.0 features improved payment integration, simplified onboarding processes, and risk management tools, along with a new strategy for handling chargeback disputes.
