Ant International, AlipayHK, and TNG eWallet have initiated the Digital Wallet Guardian Partnership to fortify the security of global wallet payments.
The collaboration will address technology innovation, knowledge collaboration, and stakeholder engagement, aiming to enhance the overall safety of digital transactions.
The technology innovation aspect will involve the creation and implementation of security solutions that leverage AI and privacy-preserving computing.
Knowledge collaboration will set up mechanisms for sharing insights, including workshops to discuss emerging risk patterns and the exchange of best practices.
Stakeholder engagement will focus on launching campaigns to educate both consumers and merchants about recognising and mitigating various risks.
In the first stage, wallet partners plan to implement Alipay+ EasySafePay 360, an AI-powered account protection solution designed to thwart account takeovers.
