By GlobalDataThe iris authentication method claims to analyse more than 260 distinct biometric features for verifying the identity of the user and employs liveness detection to prevent fraudulent efforts of using replicas such as three-dimensional masks, videos, or photographs.
The system leverages imaging algorithms to perform identification under different lighting conditions and delivers contactless security with a glance.
Alipay+ GlassPay incorporates a comprehensive security suite for e-wallets and applications, which includes personal encryption key schemes to protect user information.
Device makers, technology providers, and digital service operators will collaborate to meet differing regional compliance requirements.
The multi-modal security framework is underpinned by Ant’s gPass, a connection technology framework intended for smart glasses.
gPass allows developers and manufacturers to create secure digital services, innovate new application scenarios, and broaden the device’s potential uses.
Ant International plans to make the upgraded Alipay+ GlassPay system available to manufacturers, service providers, and developers across the Asia Pacific region.
