American Express (AmEx) has launched new dining and travel benefits for its new and existing Premier Rewards Gold Card members.

The benefits include earning 2x membership rewards points at US restaurants, $100 airline fee credit at one airline for incidental charges such as baggage fees, personalized travel service and zero foreign transaction fees.

In addition, cardholders can also earn 3x membership rewards points on flights purchased directly from airlines, 2x membership rewards points for purchases at US gas stations and supermarkets as well as access to the hotel collection.

With an annual fee of $195 (from $175), the newly added benefits of Premier Rewards Gold Card will allow users accumulate points faster, and they can use those points easily for a wide variety of rewards.

Cardholders will be able to add up to five additional cards to a Premier Rewards Gold Card account at no added cost, the company said.

American Express Consumer Charge Cards & Benefits senior vice president Lisa Durocher said: "Whether they’re traveling, dining out or cooking at home, the Premier Rewards Gold Card now gives them even richer rewards, with the flexibility, service, and security they need to keep life moving forward."
