American Express in collaboration with the Philippines-based BDO Unibank has launched the new American Express Cashback Credit Card.

The new card will be issued exclusively in the Philippines, offering cardholders with cash rebates for every local or overseas purchase.
Unlike other cashback products, the new cardholders’ cash rewards will be automatically credited to their accounts, irrespective of the value of the purchase.
Cardholders will be able to earn 1% cashback on all local purchases as well as 2% cashback on overseas purchases.
As an introductory offer, card members will also be offered a 5% cashback rate for local and overseas purchases till the end of August 2015.

By GlobalDataBDO Unibank senior vice president and consumer lending group marketing head Nannette Regala said: "Being able to save on expenses is a priority of Filipino consumers and this is precisely why we decided to make available in the market a credit card that provides outright cash rebates – with no minimum spend and no limit on amount of cashback that card holders can earn."
