US-based community bank Amerant has collaborated with First Bankcard to issue credit cards to its consumer and commercial customers.

The partnership will enable Amerant to issue Platinum, Signature and Secured consumer credit card options. The commercial offering will include Small Business credit cards, VOX for Mid-Size companies and Large Commercial credit cards.

Amerant vice-chairman and CEO Millar Wilson said: “Keeping the convenience and satisfaction of our valued customers in mind, we are proud to announce this new partnership with First Bankcard in order to further enhance our clientele’s options.

“This new partnership will continue to open new doors for the individuals and businesses that make up our community, as well as for our bank.”

First Bankcard is a division of First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO). It offers personal and business credit card services, online banking, mobile banking and digital payments services.

It counts around 200 financial institutions as its clients.
