Further, the company is also looking to develop its own biometric payments solutions, according to leaked inventory document discovered by 9to5Mac.

Amazon, which has 237 million active user accounts, recently launched ‘Amazon Wallet’ that allows users to store and organise gift cards and store loyalty cards.

According to the publication, the Amazon Card Reader is likely to work together with the company’s recently launched wallet.
