Amazon has introduced Amazon Coins for customers in the US, UK and Germany using Android devices.
The new coins will balance automatic transfer to customer’s Android device to spend on over 100,000 apps and games in the Amazon Appstore.

Additionally, Amazon Coins can also be used to buy the latest apps directly from their Android device.
Amazon Appstore and games vice president, Mike George, said: "Because customers can earn Coins when they buy apps in Amazon’s Appstore, and because they can buy Coins themselves at up to a 10% discount, customers love the extra value they get when shopping in our Appstore."
By using Amazon Coins, Amazon Appstore developers are expected to gain their standard 70% revenue share.
