E-commerce giant Amazon, in partnership with Chase, has rolled out its latest Visa-branded credit card for Prime members.
The new offering, dubbed Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature Card, provides 5% back on all Amazon.com purchases. It also offers 2% back at restaurants, gas stations and drugstores, and 1% back on every other purchase, available exclusively for eligible Prime members.
Existing Amazon Rewards Visa Signature cardholders with an eligible Prime membership will be upgraded to the new Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature Card.
Besides getting the newly designed metal card, the Prime members will benefit from no foreign transaction fees when travelling abroad or for cross-border shopping.
Until new card arrives, the Prime members can avail advantage of these new benefits by using their existing card, according to Amazon.
Furthermore, the cardholders who are not eligible Prime members will also get no foreign transaction fees and a refreshed card design, in addition to 3% back at Amazon.com, 2% back at restaurants, gas stations and drugstores, and 1% back on every other purchase.
