The move by al Khalij is part of its continued expansion and enhancement of its customer-centric products and services portfolio.

For international travellers, the new Visa Signature credit card does not charge any fees on foreign currency transactions, allowing them to save up to 5% on international transactions.

Additionally, the card offers free concierge service, free airport lounge access at over 600 airport lounges, free Schengen-compliant multi-trip travel insurance, free extended warranty, purchase protection, and medical and legal referral.

al khaliji personal banking head, Gary Mond, said the bank is committed to offering its premium banking customers products and services that meet their needs, whether in Qatar or overseas.

"It is on the promise of this commitment, and our strong understanding of our customers, that we have designed and developed our Premium Banking offering.

"The Visa Signature credit card, which we have carefully tailored to fit our Premium Banking customers’ international usage patterns, is no exception to this progressive and customer-focused mindset," Mond added.
