Airwallex said it will use the proceeds to speed up product development in autonomous finance and agentic commerce.
It also plans to expand its infrastructure and regulatory presence in new markets.
Alongside that, the company said it will continue growing the teams developing its next generation of AI-native financial software.
Jack Zhang, the co-founder and CEO of Airwallex, said:”This new capital lets us move faster into Airwallex’s next chapter: autonomous finance, agentic commerce, and the infrastructure to power both.”
Lee Fixel of Addition said: “As AI transforms the competitive landscape, the winners will be the companies building on top of real financial infrastructure, not around it.
“Airwallex has already shown it can translate that foundation into meaningful software capabilities at scale.”
Airwallex also unveiled two product initiatives linked to its expansion plans.
The first is T:0, which Airwallex described as an AI-native financial platform built to handle a company’s finance function from end to end.
According to the company, T:0 automates bookkeeping, forecasting, taxes, compliance and reporting from the outset.
It is currently in private beta and will be released more widely in the coming weeks, the company said.
The second product is Airi, a new agentic consumer wallet. At launch, Airi will include Airwallex’s existing one-click checkout capability.
In the coming months, the company said it plans to develop Airi into broader wallet infrastructure for agentic commerce.
That is expected to include delegated agent payments, spend limits, permission controls and multi-currency balances.
Airwallex said pairing Airi with its Agentic Commerce Suite will create an end-to-end commerce flow for merchants and consumers using its regulated infrastructure.
