Also, AirAsia’s pre-paid Card Company Tune Money will partner with UnionPay to allow payment in all currencies on AirAsia website using UnionPay cards.
The partnership will strengthen cooperation between the two companies in card acceptance and issuance to provide cardholders with more convenient, secure and preferential services.
With this collaboration, cardholders can also make room reservations online for hotels under AirAsia.
To celebrate the partnership, UnionPay cardholders can enjoy 50% discount on its flights departing from China during the period of 1 September 2015 to 31 January 2016 on AirAsia website with UnionPay cards.
