AFEX, a provider of payment and risk management solutions, has teamed up with prepaid card and e-money firm Centtrip to introduce the new Afex CurrencyPass Prepaid MasterCard and e-money account.

The service has been designed to offer live market rates on 14 currencies, and is available to corporate and SME clients of AFEX.

The account can be managed online and via a smartphone app, whereas the card is accepted at 2.1 million ATMs and is free to use at over 35 million locations across the globe.

Offering customers direct access to currency in the live market, the new service charges a £10 annual fee and 0.5% of the value of funds loaded to their account.

In addition, it does not have any hidden fee or conventional bank charges.
