The PayGov division of Acculynk has entered into a strategic partnership with TouchPay, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Global Tel Link (GTL) and a provider of turnkey payment and kiosk platforms to government agencies.

Under the partnership, Acculynk will provide its omni-channel online bill payment solution for municipalities and utilities, while TouchPay will provide a premise based solution, particularly a self-service payment Kiosk.

The combined solution, which is designed to target both the firm’s installed clients as well as prospective new clients, will provide all payment types including cash, credit, debit, internet PIN debit, PIN-less debit and ACH.

Using TouchPay’s self-service Kiosks, underbanked clients as well as other customers can make payments directly at the customer premise using hardware and software that is directly integrated with Acculynk’s payment platform.

Acculynk’s PIN Debit solution has been designed particularly for municipalities and utilities that have a higher concentration of residents that utilize debit cards as a primary means for transacting as well as those looking to reduce fraud and chargebacks.

Acculynk SVP business development Monish Bahl said: "We believe the partnership between Acculynk and TouchPay will be meaningful and beneficial to all stakeholders, especially government agency customers."
