Access Bank Ghana has launched two new cards, Visa Prepaid Card and AccessLink Card, designed to target both customers and non customers of the bank.
The Visa Prepaid Card is a cedi denominated reloadable card, which allows travellers to load money in cedis and spend in the currency of the foreign country.
It helps customers in instant cash withdrawals, global access to funds in their accounts, safety against carrying large amounts of cash, and safety and security of transactions.
Access Bank Ghana managing director, Dolapo Ogundimu, said the card, which could be used on all Visa ATMs worldwide, will help to reduce the risk associated with black market transactions.
The AccessLink Card is a Gh-link accepted ATM card that comes in two versions of Classic and Gold.
Access Bank Ghana personal banking head, Stephen Abban, said the Access Link card saves time and money since it can be used on any ATM in Ghana with the Gh-link sticker at reduced transaction or withdrawal costs.
