Russia’s Trust Bank is expanding its portfolio of MasterCard products by launching a new credit card with travel benefits.
The Trust Travel card comes with a credit limit of up to RUB1m ($30,000), complementary travel insurance and MasterCard’s contactless solution, PayPass. It also offers the cardholder the ability to earn air miles on everyday purchases.
Vasiliy Kuznetsov, a managing board member at the bank, said: “Trust Travel is a modern product with the widest possible range of options, including some that are unique for the Russian market.
“For example, we offer bonus miles not only for cashless transactions, but also for cash withdrawals from ATMs.”
Airmiles accumulated from daily use of the card can be redeemed for a range of tourist services including flights on over 380 Russian and foreign airlines, accommodation at hotels around the world, auto rentals and visa support.
The cardholder will also be awarded bonuses of 5,000 miles on receiving the card and 1,000 on their birthday.
