WorldPay has been selected by Lycamobile Group to execute its end-to-end payments, including acquiring, gateway, risk, treasury and alternative payments.
The mobile network used to work with a number of payment providers for these functionalities, but it has now decided to rely on a single provider for all its global customers, spread across the Asian, African and South American communities.
Subaskaran Allirajah, Lycamobile group chairman, commented: "World Pay was the obvious choice, as we expand in the future, it will be able to scale with our needs."

By GlobalDataRon Kalifa’s view, deputy chairman at WorldPay, said: "Our combination of global acquiring licenses and portfolio of alternative payments types means we can be on hand to advise and support Lycamobile Group as it grows."
Lycamobile Group has a number of brands under its corporate umbrella such as the mobile brand Lycamobile, operating in 17 markets, and also Lycatalk, Lycamoney and Lycafly.
The group serves 8m customers all over the world, reaching a combined 23bn minutes of voice calls per annum.
