“In 2011 one of the features that we saw in
the UK market was a renewed strength and dynamic in the independent
ATM deployers market. We saw a lot of deployers buy up a lot of
remote estates from banks, and we think this is going to expand
into 2012. I think the banks are interested in this is that it
gives them some capital and allows someone else to take on the
capital investment which may be required in those estates going
forward.
One of the things we are going to see in 2012
is increased interest in outsourcing, driven partly by the capital
issues affecting some of the banks, and the need to refresh some of
those estates. This should get more machines out there and improve
the consumer experience.”
