American online payment solutions provider PayPal has released mobile app with fingerprint authentication specifically for the Samsung Galaxy S5 device.

According to the company, its new app will enable customers to log in to their PayPal account with a fingerprint scan instead of a typed password and make payments online or at participating retail locations that access PayPal payments.

The new application will also be available on the Samsung Gear 2 and Gear Fit in eight global markets, including: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Mexico, United States and United Kingdom.
