New Media Insight Group in the US has launched a new smartphone payment and loyalty rewards platform to allow customers pay at merchants with pre-paid vouchers that are displayed on their smartphones.
Called mCardNetwork.com, the platform will enable its consumers to set up their own mobile wallet on any smartphone platform and make use of mCard’s that are similar to regular credit cards, but have added bonus features such as discounts and loyalty rebates.

New Media Insight said that it is currently expanding and developing its sales and marketing force to handle the promotion of the mCard network platform.
Developed by PayWith Worldwide and designed to run directly on the MasterCard Network, the mCard system will remove all barriers to entry for businesses and consumers with respect to the adoption of mobile payments and mobile loyalty programmes.
