NCR Small Business has introduced a new all-in-one tablet point-of-sale (POS) system aimed at maximizing employee productivity and minimizing security risks.

Dubbed NCR Silver Register, the POS system runs NCR Silver in the cloud and also excludes third-party user applications.

Designed for larger franchises and multi-store retailers, the solution features a plug-and-play functionality that allows small businesses to simply turn the product on and start accepting payments within minutes as well as a solid-state terminal delivering higher level of durability.

Operating on a closed Android platform, the solution works on Apple devices via the cloud to accept mobile transactions while enabling associates to create opportunities to deliver the omni-channel experiences.

With this platform, small businesses can select from available payment card processors and do away with manual processes linked with inventory management, thereby saving owners time and money.

NCR Silver Register includes a tablet, integrated stand as well as optional hardware such as a customer display, cash drawer, wireless printer and scanner.
