SecureNET is claimed to give merchants
flexibility as it allows them to transact using any open network
infrastructure.
Developed on the Ingenico platform, the solution is said to encrypt
the transaction packet from the POS to the Switch using 3DES
encryption, as well as Visa-recommended best practices for key
generation, storage, transportation and injection.
“We are proud to have developed and launched SecureNET on Ingenico,
a solution we believe will help merchants do transactions in a
secure and fast manner while giving them the flexibility to choose
their preferred monthly broadband plan enabling them to cut
telephony costs,” said Kishore Kothapalli, managing director of MRL
PosNET.
“The cooperation and technology leadership of
Ingenico was well demonstrated and we are happy to have partnered
for this project.”
