Borgum, one of the largest credit cards
issuers in Iceland, will partner with OpenWay, a tech firm that
provides software solutions for payment processing.

Borgun has 200,000 cards in the marketplace
and a client base of 10,000 merchants. It will adopt WAY4,
OpenWay’s platform which has capacity to manage a wide range of
online and mobile banking transactions.

Borgun’s CEO Haukur Oddson said:

ticked all the boxes including providing an interface with our
existing platforms and payments associations, could run loyalty

OpenWay said that WAY4 has been already rolled
out in 110 banks, processing companies and telecoms worldwide.
