According to Heartland Payment Systems, the app will allow campus administrators to offer students with a single resource that serves as a virtual ID card, a payment system for all campus services and activities, and for permission-based access to events, buildings, rooms, libraries, and other facilities.
The campus administrators will be able to use OneCard Mobile as their single mobile resource for student needs.
The application will provide more data than alternative systems, which can help administrators automate the communication of information and promotions based on student interests.
Heartland Campus Solutions ECSI vice president of sales Fred Emery said: "In addition to enhanced services, security and convenience for parents and students, campus administrators like the optimization of operations OneCard Mobile provides."
