Citi has launched what it has called the first account analysis
tools for US credit card users, enabling users to view graphs and
“visual representations” of their accounts and transactions.

This is an updated feature to the Citibank
iPad app which was launched in July 2011.

Citi pointed to the positive feedback it had
received from bank users regarding its iPad app, and decided to
provide credit card customers that same advanced access to mobile
financial management.

Tracey Weber, head of internet and mobile
banking for Citi’s North America consumer banking division said:
“Citi cardholders can now use the iPad to analyse their spending
habits and compare spending and financial goals and customisable
graphs and charts, and we’re proud to be the first major credit
card provider to offer those kinds of powerful tools.”

The revamped app also offers finance content
from the bank and lets users reach customer service directly
through Twitter.

Citi said 20 million people already use its
app.
