Accenture has unveiled a new Mobile Wallet platform designed to offer advanced digital payments services to its clients.

The new platform will feature integrated advanced analytics and big data capabilities, recommendation tools and security elements to enable its clients create personalised, mobile e-commerce applications.

In addition, the Accenture Mobile Wallet platform will allow end-users to manage and operate all types of cards, while also allowing users to send money to other or future users.

Using NFC technology or QR codes, the mobile wallet will manage all proximity transactions and payments with the cards presented at compatible points-of-sales (POS).

The Accenture Mobile Wallet platform will include the Accenture Recommendation Engine, developed by Accenture Interactive to offer personalised recommendations to customers in real time.

Accenture Mobility global managing director, Jin Lee, said: "This platform will help our clients – be they banks, mobile operators, merchants or a partnership of them all – to understand which offers to extend to which consumers and when.
