Worldline, a provider of payments and transactional services, has expanded its partnership with FEXCO, an Ireland-based financial services firm focusing on payment card services, to offer dynamic currency conversion (DCC) services at ATMs across Europe.
DCC provides non-euro cardholders in Europe an option to withdraw money from ATMs when traveling abroad, with full visibility of the exchange rate as well as the knowledge of how much they are withdrawing in their own currency.
To offer DCC services on ATM Networks to European Independent ATM Deployers (IAD’s) and Financial Institutions (FI’s), the companies have built technology offers an end to end solution to currency management, authorization, clearing, settlement and dispute management.
Worldline managing director of financial processing and licensing business line Wolf Kunisch said: "By partnering with FEXCO, Worldline is facilitating acquirers’ access to DCC services, making their ATMs more attractive and increasing their revenue stream.
"DCC at ATM enhances Worldline’s end-to-end capabilities in ATM management and ATM acquiring. This enrichment of Worldline’s value added services portfolio reinforces its global strategy to provide more than just payment services."
FEXCO managing director of DCC Denis Cleary said: "This partnership combines FEXCO’s global expertise in DCC with Worldline’s experience in ATM processing, to offer ATM Deployers and Financial Institutions across Europe an improved ATM solution for their customers.
