Wirecard, a Germany-based electronic payment solutions provider, has signed an agreement with Burda Digital, a Hubert Burda Media company, to expand its credit card acceptance and offer additional payment services.
With this agreement, the companies in the Burda Digital division will be able to use Wirecard’s services at the agreed framework conditions.

The agreement is also valid for its eCommerce holdings, which include both online retail as well as digital services.
Burda Digital managing director, Jörg Lübcke, said: "We are very pleased that we can provide the Burda Digital companies with a highly competent partner in order to efficiently bundle and support the eCommerce activities in our highly varied divisions when it comes to payments."
Wirecard sales consumer goods executive vice president, Christa Wagner, said: "The divisions of Burda Digital and Wirecard complement each other perfectly. Framework conditions mean that we can also open up our extensive portfolio of solutions for B2C payment services to the many Burda Digital companies."
