Global cash payment provider Ukash has partnered with PayUp to allow cash consumers buy Ukash from PayUp’s more than 5,000 locations across Poland in order to shop, pay and play online.

Ukash said that it is a safe and secure payment method which enables consumers to spend cash online by exchanging notes and coins for a voucher in convenience outlets such as shops, petrol stations and kiosks.

Ukash will be accepted across many online sectors, including retail, gift cards, dating and gaming, and can be used to pay at thousands of websites worldwide.

Commenting on the partnership, Ukash CEO, David Hunter, said: "Through our partnership with PayUp we are introducing Ukash to consumers across Poland, enabling them to make online cash payments for a range of services and consumer goods and helping them to get the benefits of online discounts, even if they don’t have a credit or debit card."

PayUp Poland country manager, Zbigniew Furma?czak, said: "Online shopping is a huge growth market in Poland and our partnership with Ukash is empowering consumers by giving them access to a safe online payment system by being able to purchase Ukash vouchers at PayUp locations."
