Total System Services (TSYS), a global payments provider, has entered into an agreement with Ingenico, a payments solutions company, to provide a complete payment acceptance solution to merchants.
The combined TSYS and Ingenico solution will enable businesses to process magnetic stripe, EMV, NFC and Apple Pay transactions.

TSYS newly developed payment application, INGEMV2, for selected versions of Ingenico Group smart terminals will provide security against credit card fraud via encryption and tokenization.
TSYS Merchant Services senior director and head of product Craig Ludwig said: "Our INGEMV2 payment application takes full advantage of the rich Ingenico POS feature set so that our mutual customers may take immediate advantage of Apple Pay and other contactless payment methods in a secure manner."
Ingenico Group North America SVP Acquirer Sales Bernie Frey said: "These new products ideally position TSYS and Ingenico Group to address the unprecedented demand for field upgrades that EMV and Apple Pay are creating."
