Mobile payments firm Zapper has teamed up with Revel Systems, an iPad point of sale platform, to expand the reach of their mobile payment technology for restaurants.
Under the partnership, restaurants using Revel’s point of sale system can now easily activate Zapper as an additional payment option for their customers.
With Zapper, diners can scan a QR code printed on their bill and pay from the app, without having to wait on their server.
Zapper will also capture detailed customer data, providing restaurants with the required tools to build a following and create targeted offers and promotions.
The deal will offer restaurants a fully integrated pay-at-the-table mobile solution, subsequently speeding up service, reducing errors and fraud, and simplifying the payment process.
The iPad POS solution offers features including real-time reporting, inventory tracking, integrated payroll, delivery management, customer relationship management, loyalty programs, digital menu boards, mobile payments, online ordering and gift cards.
