The PPRO Group, a London-based e-payments specialist, has teamed up with Alipay, a China-based online payment service provider, to provide new payment options for online customers of global e-marketplace, AliExpress in Europe.
As part of the collaboration, PPRO Group will manage payments using credit or debit card alternatives for AliExpress shoppers in Europe.

Alipay provides online and mobile payment services for AliExpress.
The PPRO Group said that the phased launch, which started in January this year, aims to focus on the three alternative payment systems in Germany and the Netherlands namely giropay, iDeal and Sofortüberweisung.
Alipay head of business development in Europe Griffin Peng said: "The PPRO Group’s proven expertise in delivering alternative payments to consumers across the world, along with its ability to swiftly and flexibly roll-out new services, will support our vision and commitment to providing AliExpress customers in Europe with their preferred payment methods in a secure and convenient environment, whatever country they’re in, or device they’re using."
