The Intel and NXP solution has been collaborated with MasterCard, to allow online shoppers using MasterPass to pay by tapping their MasterCard contactless card or NFC-enabled mobile phone against the built-in NFC reader.

In addition to the security safeguards instilled in the MasterPass system, Intel provides additional layers of security and identity authentication for more sophisticated customer reassurance and convenience.
