mopay, a mobile payment services provider, has signed strategic agreement to deploy Norway-based Telenor’s billing platform to charge small purchases directly to the buyer’s phone bill.
Telenor has nearly 34,000 employees worldwide, and manages mobile operations in 12 international markets.

Through this agreement, mopay customers will be given a new opportunity to charge purchases of digital goods of more than 150 million Telenor subscribers around the world.
Additionally, mopay will also be benefited from Telenor’s efficient and planned orientation towards emerging markets, such as Pakistan, Thailand and Malaysia.
