Heartland Portico Gateway will enable merchants to accept payments and replace stand-alone payment terminals that require phone lines. It can also be used to process card-present and card-not-present transactions.

VersaPay ARC is a secure, cloud-based accounts receivable solution that helps businesses reduce costs and connect to their enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, receive payments faster, publish invoices in a secure portal and conduct other functions.

Heartland senior director of e-commerce Joe Wysocki said that the collaboration will allow merchants to automate manual billing systems, improve cash flows, condense days outstanding, lower cost and improve the overall experience for the bill payment recipient.
