German telecom company Deutsche Telekom has selected Mozido, a provider of digital payment and commerce solutions, to power the launch of its new generation mobile wallet called MyWallet 2.0 in Germany.

The wallet will include mobile payments, as well as advertising and loyalty services that will be enabled through Mozido.

MyWallet 2.0 enables consumers to pay merchants using their NFC smartphones with credit and debit cards registered in the MyWallet app.

Mozido claims that SaaS platform will enable MyWallet 2.0 customers to participate in customer engagement campaigns, redeem offers and manage their digital loyalty cards from their smartphones.

The SaaS platform delivers aggregation and issuance of content, which includes coupons, loyalty, and advertising campaigns and also simplifies the payment path in mobile wallet apps that use Mozido’s Software Development Kit.

The platform is currently accessible to merchants, mobile network operators, ticketing service providers, and financial institutions across the globe to allow NFC and non-NFC payment services.
