US-based company Wells Fargo’s IT hiring an increased 5.1% in June 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.

The company’s overall hiring activity an increased by 9.58% in June 2021 when compared with May 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 15.63% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2021, and recorded a 1.44% down over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Wells Fargo IT hiring in June 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Wells Fargo, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 85.83% in June 2021, and a 5.95% drop over May 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 8.38% in June 2021, and registered a 39.22% an increase. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 3.42% in June 2021, a 9.38% drop from May 2021.

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global banking and payments IT hiring activity in June 2021 with a 65.05% share, which marked a 1.66% growth over the previous month.

North America stood next with 34.12%, registering a 13.99% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 0.83% share and a 50% drop over May 2021.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s banking and payments industry IT hiring activity with a 64.82% share in June 2021, a 1.29% growth over May 2021. the US featured next with a 34.12% share, down 13.99% over the previous month.United Kingdom recorded a 0.83% share, decline of 50% compared with May 2021.

Mid Level jobs lead Wells Fargo IT hiring activity in June 2021

Mid Level jobs held a share of 53.48%, up by 36.86% from May 2021. Junior Level positions with a 45.81% share, a decline of 29.58% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 0.71% share, down 14.29% over May 2021.
