Ualett, a fintech platform focused on gig economy workers, has introduced an international money transfer service that lets eligible users send funds abroad directly from its app.
The new product, called Ualett Global Transfer, adds cross-border transfers to Ualett’s portfolio alongside Ualett GigAdvance. The service is aimed at users in the US, including gig workers, independent contractors, and immigrant families.

In a statement, Ualett said the product is built around “clear transfer pricing, competitive exchange rates, secure processing, and in-app tracking” to support a simpler remittance flow.
Ualett co-founder and CEO Ricky Michel Presbot said: “International money transfers are a natural next step in Ualett’s mission to build practical financial tools for the people who keep our economy moving.
“Our users need solutions that are simple, transparent, and accessible, and this new experience gives them a more convenient way to support family members and manage their financial lives directly from the app.”
At launch, Ualett Global Transfer supports transfers to the Dominican Republic, Colombia, and Mexico. Additional corridors are expected to be added in the coming months.
Users can initiate transfers in the Ualett app, where they can review fees and transfer details before sending money and track the status of transactions in-app.
Founded in 2018, Ualett reports more than 750,000 users in the US.
Earlier this year, the company updated its brand identity and launched a redesigned website to mark “the next chapter in the company’s evolution”.
Ualett also expanded its funding capacity last year after securing a $150m debt facility from Thiele Capital Management.
The three-year credit line was intended to support an “more aggressive go-to-market strategy and broader client base expansion”, according to the company’s statement at the time.
