Financial infrastructure provider Unlimit has secured a Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP) licence to offer digital-asset services across the European Union (EU).
The licence was issued to Unlimit Crypto by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) under the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA).

Unlimit said the authorisation will allow it to provide crypto-asset services across EU markets “under a single approval”. The company added that this removes the need to obtain separate licences in individual member states.
Unlimit Global Payments CEO Irene Skrynova said: “For years, working with crypto in Europe meant meeting a different standard in every market. Now there is one.
“This authorisation allows us to expand our digital-asset services across the European Union.”
Founded in 2009, Unlimit is headquartered in San Francisco and London and operates 17 offices globally.
he company’s payment network spans more than 180 countries and is integrated with local payment systems. Unlimit said it supports cross-border commerce and agent-initiated payments for businesses, consumers and AI agents.
The MiCA licence follows other recent activity by Unlimit focused on partnerships and integrations.
In May, the company partnered with digital transformation solutions provider Comviva to support checkout capabilities for merchants. Under the agreement, Unlimit’s infrastructure will be integrated into Comviva’s mobiquity One. The companies said this will give merchants access to more than 1,000 payment methods and global acquiring capabilities
Separately, Indian fintech enabler Decentro integrated Unlimit’s universal operating layer to expand its cross-border payment capabilities into additional markets and payment methods.
