An independent panel of judges will select the winners in the following categories in advance of the Gala Dinner, which will take place on April 17 in Dubai:

  • New to issuer, market or both in the last 12 months
  • Acquired significant number of new accounts in six months following launch
  • Gift/Incentive cards should be entered in category 2.

Gift/Incentive Card Open and Closed-loop programme of the year

  • Open to any gift card/incentive card
  • A new card product with significant unique features
  • New to issuer, market or both in the last 12 months
  • Acquired significant number of new accounts in six months following launch

Innovation of the year

  • A new programme that has proven to meet a customer need in a unique manner
  • Product must be strongly differentiated in the market
  • Innovation can be in method of delivery, pricing or processing

Marketing campaign of the year

  • Committed to the education and development of knowledge around prepaid

The award categories will be applied for activities in the last 12 months, not general category excellence.
