UnionPay cards will be accepted at all ATMs within Turkey, following an agreement between Interbank Card Center of Turkey (BKM) and UnionPay subsidary Union Pay International (UPI).

BKM chief executive Soner Canko said: "As a result of the collaboration with UnionPay International, more than 3.4bn UnionPay cards will be used in all ATMs of our country, which are issued in nearly 30 countries and regions, including in China."

UnionPay cards, which are being issues in nearly 30 countries worldwide, are accepted in over 140 countries and regions.
