BT has announced that it has completed the upgrade of Visa Europe’s communications network, aiming to up the 2m ($2.7m) of payments it is currently processing.
The network provides connectivity for Visa Europe’s card authorisation, clearing and settlement services while linking more than 350 member sites in 37 different countries across Europe.

The infrastructure stalled by BT is based on their BT Connect product and will support Visa Europe’s corporate connectivity.
This will connect Visa Europe’s corporate offices and provide remote working, mobile, messaging and video conferencing tools.
