Malaysia-based Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) is planning to add up to 20,000 new members for its recently launched co-branded credit card by the end of November 2014.
Developed in partnership with ING Insurance Agency Force Association Malaysia (INGIAFAM), the new INGIAFAM-BSN VISA Platinum Business credit card was launched in October. Currently, these cards are made available through all INGIAFAM district managers and sales agents across the country.

Meanwhile, INGIAFAM has started motivating its management and over one million policy holders to become members of the new credit card. So far, about 1,000 people have been added as new members.
BSN community banking deputy CEO Yunos Abd Ghani was quoted by Bernama as saying, “We aim to get another 19,000 card members starting from this month to November 2014.”
Features of the new card include a free annual fee for life, 5,000 reward points for new card members, a welcome gift of RM50 cashback, flexibility of opting for a 1.8% cashback or a 12-month zero-interest plan, apart from a complimentary BSN Zing PLUSMiles Card.
The bank, which will continue its partnership with INGIAFAM up to 2018, partnered with Universiti Utara Malaysia and Yayasan Guru Malaysia for other credit-card offerings earlier.
