JCB International, the international operations unit of JCB, has opened a new office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia under its Singapore subsidiary, JCB International Asia Pacific.
JCB believes that the new office will enable the company better support the friendship shared between the people of Japan and Malaysia, and will also indirectly facilitate Malaysia’s economic development.
Moreover, as the implementation of Bank Negara’s Financial Sector Blueprint (2011 to 2020) resulted in systematic migration to electronic payments, JCB intends to cooperate with customers to be a partner in this vision through its innovative products.
JCB International Asia Pacific managing director Vincent Ling said: "Our commitment in Malaysia is in line with JCB’s global strategy to grow our business in Asia.
"We will continue to support our customers in the market to expand their business as well as to launch new differentiated payment products that is relevant to their target customers."
