American Express Serve has partnered with Dollar General and Rite Aid to expand the Free Cash Reload network in the US.

The partnership will enable eligible account holders to add cash to their cards for free at various Dollar General and Rite Aid stores.

Upon adding cash to an eligible American Express Serve account at the register, account holders can use the money immediately in store or online anywhere American Express cards are accepted.

In addition, account holders can utilise the funds to make bill payments, transfer money to individuals with Serve accounts, as well as put funds aside in a linked reserve for making purchases later on.

The latest collaboration will see American Express continue to have the largest Free Cash Reload network across the US, with over 45,000 Dollar General, CVS/pharmacy, Family Dollar, Rite Aid, Walmart, as well as participating 7-Eleven locations.
