Samsung Electronics has introduced the new Samsung Pay Transportation Card Service to facilitate transportation payment for users in Korea.
The service integrates the T-Money and Cashbee transportation payment methods into one mobile payment service. Plans are also on to collaborate with other credit card companies later on.
Following registration of the cards within the Samsung Pay application, users can pay fares for all transportation methods by tapping their smartphones against the transportation card readers.
Users can recharge the new Samsung pay cards through credit or debit cards registered within the Samsung Pay app.
Samsung and KB Kookmin cards can be used to recharge T-Money, and Lotte cards to recharge Cashbee.
